Dialogue Finished.

I Have Added and edited the last of my dialogue to to my sound replacement.

I have played through the footage on repeat all afternoon fixing any little timing mistakes and volume errors i found. At This point i am happy with my end product next class is my final one and i will spent it doing some last touch ups like trying to bring back the leather sound to Chois jacket and the bangles on rabbit girl(no idea what her name is and i closed protools).

Dialogue Inputs

My Final Job For this Matrix Sound Replacement will be to input the dialogue we recorded 

and Match it up. 

First Class: 

In this Class I imported the Audio and began the process of finding the Recording i want to use for each piece of Dialogue.

Second Class:

I Found most of the Sounds i want to use last class but some need to be altered (Chloe And Phil)

Chloes Voice is very soft So i began by rasing the volume on all her dialogue.

Phil Spoke So quickly and was very out of sync with his character choi so i need to still sync up some of his sounds but by separating the audio i can lengthen and add the necessary pauses to his dialogue.

Balancing Out Some Sounds

We have yet to get a booking to do our Dialogue So this week i spent  adding a few little sounds here and there that to add a bit of detailing one i was very proud of was i found out we never recorded a door opening sound so i took the sound of scuffling paper and changed its pitch to make it sound like a bolt lock on a door.

Catch up blog post

Due to Illness i had been absent from class and a bit of forgetfulness I have fallen a bit behind on my Blog this post is to catch up on the class work i have done up to this point.

Last Class I was here Vaughn was about to go over how to do the headphones music but since i missed that class i  was taught.

Using the EQ Band to Create the more faded sound and fading it out in the start and end helped. to create a nice tune.

Group Foley

My Group has Booked out the Sound Room To record our Audio due to issues with the setup we were not able to record our dialogue but we did record our Foley so i will work on this for the next few lessons.


I added my groups Foley sounds into  my clips tomorrow i will add fades and  finalize all the sounds into the film. Some of the Sounds don't work well and i am still trying to subtlety place them into the scene.
I Have Begun Splicing it into place and editing the it with EQ. i will continue this for over the next lesson.

I have Finished my Foley setup. I am just updating this blog as it has taken me 3 lessons to finish this Due to me taking one of those as a sick day.
I am Happy with my progress and Vaughn is going to show me how to do the Headphones music so i will make a separate blog post for that.

My Name is a Funky Beat

Worked on the Music for our Matrix sound replacement.

For the Club scene i  used the Boom Insert to get a more techno beat. 

After playing around with the sound board for a bit i tried entering in my name as the different points a beat was made and the end result was pretty good.
