Protools is the main program we will be using in Audio. The reason for the use of this program is due to it being the industry standard.

Protools is a pretty basic audio program with easy functionality once you start spending a bit of time with the program it becomes easy to navigate.

The basic functions tools of the program are located up the top left with a list of the audio tracks listed on the left side. The main section of the program is the audio tracks this gives you great flexibility to manipulate the audio track.

The main function tools located in the left functions are as follows : From left to right

The two arrow buttons on the sides of the fist set of buttons allow you In a sense zoom in and out of the track.

The sound wave allows you to increase the size of the sound wave so if your dealing with quick sounds you can get better manipulation of the the track.

The magnifier glass icon is zoom function.
the next three buttons can be used in conjunction with each other.
the first allows you to crop the audio track
the second is a select tool
the third is a move tool.
.

Rest of the tools function to be entered as i learn them.
Below is an image of the actual audio tracks these can be rearranged and colour coded.
The little icon in the top left corner lets you add tabs of functions to the audio track below i have added the inserts A-E and I/O tabs.
